The agent I used to work for helped me realize my greater purpose of becoming an agency owner. My dream came true in 2016 when I opened my agency in my hometown. I'm a lifelong resident of LaVale. I like the small-town friendliness and the ability to build real, lasting relationships with customers.
I also enjoy giving back to my hometown. I'm a Board member of the Allegany County Chamber of Commerce, on several committees within the Chamber, a member of the Western Maryland Jaycees and a member of the Historic Highlands Association of Realtors (HHAR). I donate a lot of my time volunteering and sponsoring other local organizations and events.
I love spending time with my dog Samson, and enjoy doing anything outdoors. LaVale is full of history and I enjoy visiting the many beautiful historic buildings and landmarks around town, including the Great Allegheny Passage.
It's rewarding to help people learn how to protect what they love most. Our team is unique because we include a great range of diverse professionals. Today is Fire Prevention Day, so let's talk about one tiny household item that can make a VERY big difference: your smoke detector.

Having smoke detectors is important... but they're only helpful if they're actually working. 😬

This is your reminder to test yours, replace batteries when needed, and make sure you have detectors in the appropriate areas of your home.

And here's the insurance connection: some insurance companies even offer discounts for certain protective devices, including qualifying smoke alarms, fire alarms, or monitored systems.

👟 We're stepping away from our desks today... for a good cause! 💜

Today, our agency is participating in Sprint & Stride, The Allstate Foundation's annual movement challenge in recognition of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

Our goal? Sneak in 6,500 steps during the workday! 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️ So if you catch us taking a few extra laps around the office, we're not avoiding work. We're just getting our steps in! 😉

For every 5K (or 6,500 steps) completed and recorded, The Allstate Foundation will donate wellness kits to domestic violence advocates who work tirelessly to support survivors.

💜 A little movement for us. A meaningful show of support for those making a difference every day.
