Lefty’s was fabulous!! We were tired of turkey. After all of the delicious home cooking, our small local restaurants are ready to take over the cooking for a while. 🤎

People were out enjoying Downtown the Saturday after Christmas. The weather was mild and shops were busy. I talked to several small business owners and visitors who were having a great day.

Lily Books and Cafe is absolutely charming! It is good to have a bookstore downtown again. Add in coffee and pastries and we have a real winner. I picked up several Christmas gifts and warmed up from the cold. I love this place! ❤️

Winterfest is WONDERFUL! Dash on down!! There is so much to do and see, awesome vendors, fabulous live music, Frosty, Santa Claus AND ELVES, Carriage Rides, Fire Pits with marshmallows…Cumberland knows how to celebrate Winter!!! 🩵🤍💙

I hope you grabbed a copy of The New York Times Friday. In November, I had the pleasure of meeting with reporter, Campbell Robertson, along with members of the Save The Westernport Library!Steering Committee to tell him our story and show him our old library, the new temporary location and our Benny Bookman book collection drive. Campbell also grew up in a small rural town and was very interested in getting our story into print. After meeting with a lot of local people, the story is printed in the Friday edition and also on their FB page.
