Is it just me, or did the stores skip straight from candy corn to candy canes overnight? 🎃➡️🎄

I blinked and suddenly it’s holiday playlists, pumpkin spice is somehow already “last season,” and I’m pretty sure I saw a swimsuit display going up behind the ornaments 😅

One thing I always remind my self-employed borrowers is that what you make and what your tax returns show aren’t always the same thing. And when it comes to qualifying for a mortgage, that difference can matter... Big time!

That rate you locked in a few years ago? It’s a great rate. Nobody’s arguing that!

But a mortgage is so much more than a number. It’s the term, the payment, the equity you’ve built, the loan options you didn’t have back then, and the house it’s actually attached to. When the rate becomes the only thing you look at, you stop seeing everything else... like the home you’ve outgrown and the life you’ve been squeezing into it.

Holding onto your rate is a fine reason to stay! Just don't let it be the only reason 🏡
