I didn't fully understand dementia care until Tami explained this.
People living with dementia? They *know* something's off. Deep down, they feel it. And that fear is real.
Tami shared something that completely shifted my perspective: sometimes the most compassionate thing we can do isn't to correct their reality, it's to step into it with them.
Because here's the truth, constantly being "corrected" can do more harm than good. What they need most is to feel safe.
