‼️SCAM ALERT‼️

We have been made aware of suspicious calls appearing to come from Hometown Bank.

Scammers are spoofing our phone number and pretending to be bank employees. They may claim that a wire has been received in your name and ask you to verify personal or account information.

These calls are not from Hometown Bank. Even if our name or phone number appears on your caller ID, do not share sensitive information. Hang up and call Hometown Bank directly at 606-528-2000.

Please contact us right away if you receive a suspicious call or email. When in doubt, call us first. We are happy to help!

First Pregame in the books! 🏈

We had such a fun night kicking off football season at the University of the Cumberlands Pregame! From our football toss and prizes to Hometown Bank goodies, visits with the mascot, and plenty of game day fun, we loved getting to spend the evening with students, families, and our community.

And an even better way to end the night — a 41–28 Patriots win!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by to see our Hometown Bank team. We’re already looking forward to the next Pregame!

We are incredibly proud to congratulate Amy Burke, Chief Retail Officer and Senior Vice President, on her graduation from the Graduate School of Banking at Colorado!

Over the past three years, Amy has committed herself to an intensive program designed to develop and challenge leaders in community banking. Through the experience, she studied alongside bankers from across the country, expanded her perspective on the industry, and strengthened the leadership skills she brings back to Hometown Bank each day.

Amy graduated as a member of the GSBC Class of 2026 and also earned the Committed to Lead micro-credential, an additional distinction recognizing her investment in leadership development beyond the core GSBC curriculum.

We are proud not only of what Amy has accomplished, but of what this investment means for the future of Hometown Bank. The knowledge, ideas, relationships, and leadership experience she brings home will continue to make an impact on our employees, our customers, and the communities we serve.

We put them to the test with a little trivia: How many pennies make $100? What does FDIC stand for? And what year did Hometown Bank open?

The answers were…mixed. 😂 A few lifelines were used, a few friends were phoned, and somehow everyone walked away with a gift card in the end. We’ll call that a win!
