Colors of New England…Maine
We were all “Maineiacs” for Maine! On our way to Portland we drove by Walkers Point, George HW Bush’s summer residence. We visit the oldest and most photographed lighthouse, Portland Head Light. Afterwards we did some shopping at LL Bean and ended the evening with a messy and entertaining Lobster Dinner and Maine’s famous “whoopie pies”. Another great trip for your HTB Travel Club!

Colors of New England… New Hampshire
The colors were spectacular in New Hampshire! We stopped at Rock Estates to learn the art of Maple Sugaring and get a little taste of maple syrup. Then we made our way to North Conway to the elegant White Mountain Hotel & Resort. The highlight of our trip was driving to the summit of White Mountain standing tall at 6,288 feet above sea level. The winds were blowing at speeds up to 70 mph! And what a treat to stroll on a hike to Diana’s Baths Waterfall. On our way to Maine we stopped for a relaxing cruise across Lake Winnipesaukee. New Hampshire, you were amazing!

Colors of New England: Vermont
Vermont is absolutely stunning! We’ve had c***r donuts, apple c***r, Ben & Jerry’s tour and ice cream, beautiful covered bridges, glass blowing and the history and tour of the Von Trapp Lodge where we learned the story behind “The a sound of Music”

We have arrived at the beginning of our New England fall foliage tour and today’s sights were to the Freedom Trail in Boston

The Fall Mystery Trip has been solved! Your Hometown Bank Varsity Club drove north to Hodgenville, KY to the birthplace of your 16th president… Abraham Lincoln. We had great weather, great food, and wonderful fellowship with old and new friends.
