CBAO spent the day at the Ohio Statehouse advocating for Ohio’s community banking industry and the local communities our members serve.

Throughout the day, members met directly with legislators and policymakers to discuss:
• Consumer protections in HB 493 regarding the sale of tax debts to out-of-state third-party providers
• Virtual currency kiosks
• The acquisition of community banks by tax-exempt credit unions

These conversations are critical to ensuring the community banking voice is represented on important policy issues affecting Ohio communities.
