So thankful for the opportunity to volunteer at Beechwood Elementary with the Communities Inspiring Positivity (CIP) program again this year. The kids brought nonstop energy and laughs, and the teachers and staff continue to inspire me with how much they pour into these students every day.

Today is about remembering those who never made it home. 🇺🇸

Recently, someone I care deeply about brought me the boots he wore in Vietnam. He survived the war, but many of his friends did not.

As he shared his stories about the brothers he lost - what they endured, what they carried, and the memories that never left him - we both got emotional.

He asked me to hold those boots, and they felt so heavy in a way that had nothing to do with their actual weight.

This Memorial Day, I’m thinking about the lives that were lost, the brothers who never came home, and the lifelong weight carried by those who did.

May we never forget them.

Success! We rode our bikes 26 miles over the river and through the woods in Columbus for our 7th annual Bike to Work day. This meaningful ride supports scholarships for hard-working Whitehall Yearling High School student athletes every year to help pay for college - What a fun day! ☀️

WOW! These guys battled all weekend against some EXCELLENT competition - they stayed positive, played together, and finished the job.

So much growth from this group all season and I couldn’t be prouder as a coach.

🙌 Update: as of around 11am, we’re fully functional! Thanks so much to all of the hard-working crews who were able to get power restored in the area so quickly, and thank you all for your patience!

🚨 Heads up! Unfortunately, there’s a power outage in our area. We’re somewhat limited with what we can do in-office for the time being, so please give us a call if you need assistance!

We’re hearing that power should be restored by around 1pm but we’ll keep you updated.

I loved getting to volunteer at the school again this week and celebrate the incredible people who do so much for our children.

A huge THANK YOU to all the teachers, administrators, and staff at every school, for the love and dedication you pour into our schools and communities every day.

No game highlights here…but honestly, that’s not ONLY what this weekend was about.

We took the team to the Hoosiers gym in Knightstown, IN - such an amazing experience in itself. A lot of smiles, a little history, and a reminder of why people fall in love with this game. So cool!

From there to Indy for the tournament - we battled our way to the championship and came up a little short. Very proud of how these guys competed all weekend!

But the real win?

The time together. Car rides, pizza night, kids and families hanging out, and moments these boys will remember way longer than the scoreboard.

A ton of respect to the squad that beat us - 937 Ice - great group of kids, parents and coaches, and a class act all the way!

That’s what it’s about. 🙌

Grateful to spend time in the schools once again with CIP (Community Inspiring Positivity), helping out teachers, staff, and getting to know these awesome kids.

They’ll make you laugh non-stop… but they’ll also remind you what really matters.

❤️ I had the pleasure of attending a meeting with the Agonis Club of Columbus - and what an incredible experience!

For 100 years, this nonprofit has supported Central Ohio high school student-athletes by raising scholarship funds, recognizing achievements on and off the field, and giving back in meaningful ways.

The club also does an amazing job promoting philanthropy, honoring local legends, and creating opportunities for personal and professional growth.

We heard from Coach Tim Hinton, who shared a powerful message on leadership and fighting to become the best version of yourself. One reminder that really stuck with me:

Yesterday is history,
Tomorrow is a mystery,
Today is a blessing.

Thank you to Bill Hughett for the invitation, and to the Agonis Club for the warm welcome - I truly enjoyed being part of it! 👏
