Well, the 2026 Guiding season started off a little differently this year.. lol. Due to some unforeseen circumstances, this couple who had hired me to guide them last week, ended up not riding. To me, that didn't mean that I still couldn't show them a good time! So I offered my "Guide" services by showing them the area, by vehicle. First we went to The Moonville Tunnel, where I brought my book along and told ghost stories. Next we went for lunch at the new Knight and Day Bistro in Nelsonville. It was fabulous!! After lunch we went to The Rocky Boot Outlet, where several amazing deals were purchased. Then we rounded off the day at The Hocking Hills Winery. They did have their pony, um I mean puppy with them. So I did some research and called ahead to be sure that each of these places were Dog friendly. This was the third year in a row that this couple has hired me. I knew that I had to do something to make their Hocking stay memorable. This would also be true of anyone who hired me. When I am your guide, I am just a phone call or a 30 minute drive away to answer questions and suggest some local activities, when things don't go as planned.
