In observance of this Memorial Day, we at Freedom Bank want to say how much we appreciate those that serve our country to protect our rights and values here in America. In honor of our fallen heroes, we will be closed on Saturday 05/23 and Monday 05/25.

While we may be closed our services will still be active, if you're unable to make it in before close on Friday and need to get things processed this is a great opportunity to utilize our mobile banking app. There you can deposit checks remotely quick and easy before you get to spending time with your loved ones this holiday!

We are honored to partner with Home Loan Bank of Des Moines in presenting a Member Impact Fund grant to the Boys & Girls Club of Glacier County! Freedom Bank contributed $2,500, which the FHLB Des Moines matched with $6,074, for a total grant of $8,574. This funding will support programs that provide a safe, supportive space for youth, helping them learn, grow, and reach their full potential. Congratulations!

🚨 Scam Alert: “$100 Reward” Postcard 🚨

A customer recently reported receiving a postcard in the mail claiming she had a $100 reward waiting. The postcard included a phone number to call to claim it.

When she called the number, she was asked to provide her debit card information. Shortly after, unauthorized charges began appearing on her account.

⚠️ Remember:
- Legitimate rewards will never ask for your full card number
- Scammers may use mail, phone calls, or texts to appear more “official”
- If it’s unexpected, slow down and verify before responding

✅ Protect yourself:
- Never share your card number, PIN, or online banking info
- Contact your bank using a trusted phone number
- Call us right away if you think you’ve been targeted

💙 Come Support Hazel Alexander 💙

The CFHS Cross Country team is raising money for Hazel Alexander.

On January 9, Hazel was struck by a driver in a stolen vehicle who was evading police. She suffered extensive injuries that required multiple surgeries and will need extended hospitalization and recovery.

We’re coming together to support Hazel and her family during this incredibly difficult time. Any donation, share, or message of encouragement makes a difference. Let’s show Hazel the strength of our community. 🏃‍♀️💙

The Federal Reserve Bank of Minneapolis would like to bring to your attention a phone scam that has recently come to light targeting customers that were recipients of Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans. It appears scammers are leveraging publicly available information about PPP loans to identify potential targets and their associated financial institutions.

Reported incidents involve business customers who received fraudulent calls from a spoofed phone number matching the bank's legitimate contact number. The perpetrator, posing as a bank representative, claimed to be confirming ACH transactions. Through this deception, the fraudster gained unauthorized access to online banking account information and initiated unauthorized ACH transactions, diverting funds to their own account.

Please know, these calls are not from us. Do not give out personal banking information.
