Edward Jones-Financial Advisor: Amanda Sylvester

Edward Jones-Financial Advisor: Amanda Sylvester Good people are at the center of everything we do. Coming to work every day, I'm inspired to help those I've been fortunate enough to serve. Go Purple Aces!

As a financial advisor, I truly enjoy creating customized strategies, regularly reviewing and adjusting these strategies with my clients as goals and markets change, and working with them throughout their lives to help keep them on track. Regardless of whether a client has complex wealth and estate needs, is newly retired or is navigating how their money will last throughout retirement, I am here

to help. I enjoy being the person who guides my clients through life events, helping them make sound financial decisions and keeping them informed along the way. I strive to make investing approachable. My ideal clients are those who want to carefully and thoughtfully work toward their financial goals, using me as their sounding board to make financial decisions. On a personal note, my story began in Anderson, Indiana, where I was born and raised. I went on to graduate from the University of Evansville with a degree in accounting. While at UE, I played softball all four years. I went on to earn my MBA from Ball State University. I married my husband, Corey, in October of 2012. Corey is also a financial advisor with Edward Jones. We have a dog named Dipo and enjoy traveling and golfing. I earned my limited partnership with the firm in 2023 and couldn't be prouder to work for Edward Jones. I am an active member of the Elwood Optimist Club, where our motto is "friend of youth." I'm actively involved with running our golf outing each year and our world-famous fruit drink stand. I'm also a member of the Noblesville Chamber and actively involved in WIN (Women in Noblesville). As a WIN committee member, I'm involved in connecting and empowering women in Noblesville and the surrounding communities. My senior branch office administrator, Jordan, does a wonderful job of providing personalized service to our clients. Jordan is married to her high school sweetheart, Henry. They have two beautiful daughters, Payton and Nichole. Jordan earned her limited partnership with the firm in 2023. We are located in Cicero, Indiana, but serve clients across the country. Give us a call or stop by the office. We look forward to seeing you. Member SIPC.

Many retirees look forward to traveling more in retirement — and the most enjoyable trips often start with a plan. Thinking ahead about how you want to travel, budgeting for the unexpected and prioritizing comfort can make a big difference in both cost and enjoyment.

With fewer calendar constraints and greater flexibility, travel may suddenly feel more possible in retirement.www.edwardjones.com/us-en

Emotions and investing usually don’t mix well. Fear, excitement and panic often push investors to buy high, sell low or abandon their strategy altogether.

Before reacting to the latest headline, pause and reconnect with your long term goals. Your retirement, your family’s future and your legacy may depend on it.

Too often, our emotions can be a barrier to our investment success. In these situations, it’s important to take a timeout and remember why you’re investing.

After beginning the year with markets pricing in multiple rate cuts, a sharply accelerating labor market and energy-driven inflation have meaningfully shifted the outlook toward potential policy tightening — creating a more complex backdrop for equities and fixed income alike. Senior Economist James McCann explains what this could mean for investors in our Weekly Market Wrap.

June is a meaningful reminder that planning isn’t just about finances. It’s about protecting the life and independence those finances support.

This Alzheimer’s & Brain Awareness Month, I’m encouraging clients to think about brain health as part of their overall long-term plan. Whether it’s building flexibility into your financial strategy, discussing long-term care considerations or simply prioritizing wellness, these conversations matter.

If this is something you’ve been meaning to revisit, I’m here to help you think it through.
