Congratulations Nayessa! Your dedication is unmatched.

Nayessa Walsh, an eighth grade student at Carey Junior High, was selected as Laramie County School District 1’s Student of the Week for the week of Nov. 2.

Walsh was selected for her leadership, academic performance and willingness to help others. She maintains a 4.0 GPA, has nearly perfect attendance, and is never tardy to class.

Zoe Vazquez, a junior at South High School, was selected as Laramie County School District 1’s Student of the Week for the week of Oct. 26.

Vazquez was chosen for his leadership and academic achievement. He serves as student council vice president of public relations, is a member of the National Honor Society, and helps produce the school’s yearbook.
