Remember that professional announcement I hinted at a bit ago? Well… here it is! I’m beyond honored to share that I’ve been selected as the 2025 recipient of the Willis Bryant Award from the Mortgage Bankers Association! 🏆✨

This award recognizes my journey through all three levels of the School of Mortgage Banking, where I earned my Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP) designation. Along the way, I gained incredible knowledge about every aspect of mortgage lending — but more importantly, I discovered my true passion: growing credit union presence and impact in the mortgage lending space. 💙🏡

I’m so thankful to the amazing leadership team at WyHy Federal Credit Union for their unwavering support of my professional growth and for continually championing the credit union difference — people helping people! 🙌

Next up: I’m setting my sights on joining the elite ranks of Certified Mortgage Bankers (CMBs) and using this platform to continue advancing the idea that credit unions are the first choice for personalized, thoughtful mortgage solutions. 💪💫

Big News! 🎉

I’m beyond excited to share that I have officially earned the Accredited Mortgage Professional (AMP) designation from the Mortgage Bankers Association! This is a huge milestone in my career, and I couldn’t have done it without the incredible support of WyHy FCU—I’m so grateful for the opportunity to grow and excel in this field.

Even more exciting—I’m proud to announce that my group was selected as the winning team in the final School of Mortgage Banking simulation! As part of this final step toward earning my AMP, I had the chance to bring a credit union into the simulation, reinforcing just how important credit unions are in the mortgage lending space.

I’m excited for what’s ahead and remain committed to helping more members achieve homeownership while continuing to advocate for credit unions in mortgage lending.

I had the privilege of attending Wyoming Credit Union Day at the Capital today. This was an inspiring opportunity to talk with Wyoming State Senators and House Representatives about the economic impact of credit unions and the power of being a cooperative organization that gives back to our members and communities. I was challenged to step outside my comfort zone and look forward to continuing to grow and advocate for a better financial future!
