Demi Ramirez dressed the part to hand out tomato plants at First Federal Savings Bank of Champaign-Urbana on Monday.

Ramirez donned the tomato costume for the second year to help the bank distribute more than 5,400 tomato plants. The 44th annual giveaway marks the start of spring and introduces potential new customers to the bank.

Photographer Rob Le Cates visited the setup for work that will be part of Tuesday's print edition.
