WELCOME TO THE TEAM, ERIN SCHUTTER! We’re excited to welcome Erin Schutter to the Strickler Agency Employee Benefits team. Erin began her insurance career as a college intern while attending Shippensburg University and has built her career helping employers develop strategic employee benefits solutions that support both their organizations and their employees.

“Erin’s knowledge, strategic approach, and genuine passion for helping others make her an outstanding addition to our team,” said Director of Sales Reed VanDerlyke. “She has a unique ability to combine data-driven insights with compassionate guidance, helping clients navigate complex benefits decisions with confidence. We’re excited to have her expertise as part of the Strickler team.”

Erin specializes in analyzing claims data, identifying opportunities for cost savings, supporting contract and union negotiations, and educating employees on their benefits. Drawing from both her professional expertise and personal experience navigating the healthcare system, she is passionate about helping employers create stronger benefits programs while empowering employees to make informed healthcare decisions.

Erin lives in New Cumberland with her husband, daughter, and two dogs. Outside of work, she enjoys volunteering with the Community Aid Foundation and other local organizations, cheering on her daughter at field hockey games, hiking, practicing yoga, spending time with family and friends, and supporting her favorite Syracuse and Philadelphia sports teams.
