📉 Five Straight Weeks of Improving Mortgage Rates! Is This a Trend? 🏡

After five consecutive weeks of improvement, I'm finally comfortable calling this a short-term downward trend in mortgage rates! 🎉

Now, does that mean rates will continue dropping? Not necessarily. Mortgage rates can change quickly based on inflation, employment reports, and activity in the bond market. But five weeks of improvement is certainly encouraging!

According to Mortgage News Daily, the average 30-year mortgage rate finished last week at 7.27%, approximately 0.33 percentage points lower than a month ago.

🏠 Meanwhile, homebuyers are seeing more opportunities in the housing market, and we'll be watching this week's employment reports for clues about where rates may head next.
