Quick question… why do financial representative ask for referrals? 🤔
It really comes down to one simple thing:
👉 Trust.
In this profession, trust means everything—and referrals are how it spreads.
Here’s the easiest way to think about it:
✅ When you refer someone, you’re basically saying:
“Hey, I trust this person—and I think you can too.”
✅ It turns a “cold introduction” into a comfortable conversation
(No awkward sales vibes 🙌)
✅ Most people know others just like them
—same goals, same worries, same questions about money
✅ And honestly… it’s not about selling
It’s about helping more people get good guidance and education

At the end of the day, I don’t expect referrals—but I always appreciate them.
