🐾Paws your scroll please as we 🎺 MAKE SOME NOISE🎺 for K9s 4 Mobility!

🛻🚙🚗 This afternoon, Jonah Bankers, past and present K9s 4 Mobility board members, and a trunk load of plush, squeaky dog toys caravanned up to the K9s’ training facility. For a group this large (and loud), it was impossible to sneak up on them. Yet the surprise and excitement on their faces when they realized why we were there was exactly what we were going for! ✅

🐕‍🦺K9s 4 Mobility is dedicated to training and placing service dogs with people that have mobility challenges. We often get to know the dogs in training, because they spend time learning to navigate our doors, elevators, stairways, bank transactions, etc.—all to help their people navigate the world as independently as possible. And as much as we’d like to think the dogs like the time they spend at Cheyenne’s Jonah Bank branches, we LOVE it! We love the trainers, we love the dogs, and we love their mission!

🎉So this year, as Jonah Bank celebrates 20 years of Building a Better Wyoming, we’ve chosen to make some noise for the nonprofits we’ve spent years building relationships with by surprising them with a noisy, messy, giant check presentation—giant as in $20,000 giant! 🤑

They’re 14. We’re 20. Our founder was instrumental in their foundation. We’ve literally grown up together, as family!

💌To our friends at K9s 4 Mobility: We love you! We’re grateful for everything you do for our community, every treat you allow us to serve your dogs, every smile you put on our faces with your visits. Cheers to many, MANY more years of doing our work together. 🐾

🎺MAKE SOME NOISE for the Jae Foundation Wyoming!

It’s August 20th, and you know what that means! IT’S TIME TO GET NOISY (for a great cause).

🤠The Jae Foundation is starting conversations across Wyoming with High School Seniors, just before they launch out into a world that can feel like too much at times. When these young people have their Jae Boot Experience, they receive far more than a free pair of cowboy boots. They receive tools to have bold conversations about mental health while they commit to reaching out for help if they’re ever in need. They’re challenged to “take the reins” and go back to their school to create or carry on a Boot Check Culture. On Boot Check days, students check in on themselves and each other through real and courageous conversations about mental health.

❤️‍🩹As Jonah Bank celebrates our first 20 years by making lots of noise for the nonprofits that carry a huge load in Building a Better Wyoming, we can’t help but think about the loved ones we wish were here to celebrate with us. Many of us have lost someone we love deeply due to su***de. And while we’d do anything to change the course of history for our loved one, the future is what the Jae Foundation focuses on.

So, it felt so natural to stop by Jae's Place in Casper to surprise them with a giant check for $20,000 to help them continue their critical work. Once construction is done, Jae’s Place will host countless courageous conversations, impacting the future of many generations.

It's FriYAY, folks! 🥳

By this time next week, you'll know who received our August $20k surprises in Casper and Cheyenne. YAY! 👏👏👏

Until then, our July recipients are worth celebrating again (or still) ...

👏👏👏YAY for Platte River Trails , who was super gracious when we crashed their board meeting, leaving behind trails (see what we did there?) of confetti, smiles, and $20k to help them continue their good work. 🎊

👏👏👏YAY for Veterans' Rock, who was left nearly speechless when we pulled up to their party in Lion's Park where their board was gathering to celebrate their 6th anniversary. Despite their momentary shock, they've already rolled up their sleeves to put the $20k we left them with to important use. 🎉

From helping those who provide and coordinate support services to our veterans and active-duty military to those who work to maintain access to Casper's beautiful outdoors along the North Platte River Corridor, we're proud to make noise for Wyoming's nonprofits. 🎺
