Financial Security Credit Union is a not-for-profit organization owned and operated by its members for the benefit of all who belong. Our earnings go back to the member in the form of affordable loans, competitive rates on accounts, and other valuable services. The credit union is a cooperative organization operated by the volunteer members formed into governing bodies. A Board of Directors governs the overall operations of the Credit Union and the Supervisory Committee examines those operations. Members of the Board of Directors and the Supervisory Committee are elected by the membership at the Annual Meeting, held each year, respectively. Membership is open to anyone working and/or living in Eddy County, New Mexico; and the immediate family of such persons.

Financial Security Credit Union was voted Best of Carlsbad for Best Credit Union, and this recognition means more to us than we can truly put into words.

Every day, our team works to make a difference in the lives of our members and in the community we are so proud to call home. Whether it is helping someone reach a financial goal, answering a question, supporting a local organization, providing financial education, or simply being there when a member needs us—we truly care about every interaction.

We nearly doubled our goal of 250 pairs and we couldn’t be more proud for making the impact we will be able to make because you all helped us do it!

First, our members are getting a text message claiming to be from FSCU stating that there has been fraud on your debit card. Even if you answer no- next, you’re gonna get a call from the fraudsters asking for confidential information. THIS IS NOT FINANCIAL SECURITY. Please, please hang up on them.
