PSA for you folks today….. Check out this bad chicken! She’s all fixed up and ready for the mountains, but our customer unfortunately damaged the side of it. We are having to remove most of the custom interior and replacing the nerf bar side step for the repairs. Total for just those two items is roughly $3500.00. Here is the PSA! When you have a modified vehicle you MUST make sure your insurance carrier knows this and need additional coverage to cover them!! This particular customer, like most only has $1000.00 in coverage for “modifications” and will likely have to cover the balance out of pocket, for a policy that would probably only raise his premiums a few bucks. Something most folks have no idea about, and most agents will not inform you about either due to lack of knowledge, or just to keep the premiums a little less than the next guy! Your welcome!!

"Three weeks ago Daisy took over the setting role full time for the Cougars, and since that time the Cougars have been flourishing. She is a great leader both on and off the court. Daisy leads the team in set assists and in service aces, and is second in total digs. Daisy wears #4 for a reason - she is a leader both on and off the court, always approaching practices and games with a positive attitude but also bringing mindfulness and intensity every day to the gym. Her teammates can't help but to follow her. Since taking over the setting role full time, the team has been steadily improving in quality of play and competitiveness, and has been playing their best volleyball to date, in large part due to Daisy's steadiness and leadership. Congratulations Daisy on being our Player of the Week. It is well deserved. "

"Sam continues to be an anchor for our defense at outside linebacker while also making a major impact offensively from the tight end position. Last week against Liberty, Sam played a critical role on both sides of the ball. He recorded a career-high 89 receiving yards and added a touchdown reception, while continuing to provide physical, dependable play on defense. Sam’s ability to contribute at a high level on both sides of the ball makes him an incredibly valuable part of our team."

Spotlight Details: The Sam Day Foundation, an incredible organization dedicated to advancing childhood cancer research and supporting children and families navigating the challenges of cancer treatment.

This selection is especially meaningful to us because it allows us to support a client family whose child has been courageously battling childhood cancer for the past five years. Throughout this journey, they have turned hardship into purpose by working alongside the Sam Day Foundation to increase awareness, advocate for greater funding, and support research focused on better treatments and cures for childhood cancer. Their commitment to creating hope and change for other families facing similar challenges has been remarkable to witness.

Many people are surprised to learn that childhood cancer receives only 4% of national cancer research funding, despite being the leading disease-related cause of death for children in the United States. The foundation, in their words, "has grown into a strong, compassionate community advocating for young people fighting the forgotten cancers."

Catching up with some representing volleyball and football! See what their coaches say about Alec and Jaycee! 👇🏼

"Senior punter and wide receiver, Alec Walker, played a critical role and delivered one of the best punting performances in Canby Football history, and arguably one of the best in Oregon high school football history. Alec successfully pinned the Pioneers inside their own 5-yard line five times, including twice inside the 1-yard line. In a defensive battle where every yard and every possession mattered, Alec consistently flipped the field and forced Sandy to operate from the shadow of its own goal line. His ability to execute under pressure and control field position was a huge factor in allowing us to pull out a hard-fought 6–3 victory on the road against a top-5-ranked team in the state."

"Jaycee Robles is a sophomore and a second year varsity player. She has become a leader on the team and plays whatever position is asked of her. She is one of the leading hitters on the team, playing both Outside, Middle and Right Side, wherever she is needed. And she does so with a smile on her face. Her versatility is instrumental in our successes so far. She has developed her game to be an all around player, both in the front row and the back row, but most importantly, she is a team player first. Congratulations to Jaycee on being volleyball player of the week."

These people actually make the decision to run without being chased. Introducing our cross country Jaycob and Preslee! Here is what their coaches say ...

"Preslee led the way for the Cougars for the second consecutive race this past Saturday at the Oregon City XC Invitational. Her 49-second lifetime best helped the girls' team earn a top-20 team finish in a highly talented field. Preslee's performance also moved her into second place in the early-season Greater Metro Conference rankings."

"Jaycob has been the Cougars' top finisher in each of the two races he has competed in this season. At this past weekend's Oregon City XC Invitational, he placed 41st out of 214 runners while recording a 25-second lifetime best. Jaycob currently owns the third-fastest mark in the Greater Metro Conference rankings. In addition to his success on the course, he serves as a team-selected co-captain this season and has committed to continue his running career at Arizona Christian University next year."
