Key Responsibilities:

* Maintain a thorough understanding of all deposit products and services offered.

* Accurately process various teller functions, including cashing checks, deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments.

* Provide exceptional customer service by addressing banking needs both in person and over the phone while recommending appropriate products and services.

* Balance your cash drawer daily with precision & accuracy.

* Represent Citizens Bank & Trust Company with a friendly, positive, and professional attitude.

* Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

* Education: High school diploma or GED (required).

* Experience: Prior experience in a financial institution is a plus.

* Skills: Basic computer literacy is necessary; strong communication skills and attention to detail are essential.

* Flexibility: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including rotating Saturdays.

The Citizens Bank & Trust Company and First Bancorp, Inc. Board of Directors are pleased to announce that Roberta Cox has been promoted to President of Citizens Bank & Trust Company.

Roberta, better known to her customers and friends as “Bertie” has a long career at Citizens Bank, beginning in 1977 as a bookkeeper and continuing in proof, as a teller and on to the loan department as a loan officer and in loan administration. Roberta was elected to the Board of Directors in 2020 and named Executive Vice President in 2023.

She is a graduate of the Kentucky School of Banking. She has been a life-long resident of Campbellsville where she resides with her husband, Craig Cox. She is the daughter of Robert L. and Nell Wise of Spurlington, Ky and has two brothers, Brian Wise of Campbellsville, KY and Ron Wise of Nashville, TN.

She will continue the long-standing tradition of Citizens Bank’s excellent service to its customers and involvement in the community. Mark U. Johnson will continue in the position of CEO.
