Fall has a way of making us hit the reset button.

🧦 We clean out closets. πŸͺœ We organize the garage. πŸ“ We get back into routines.

It's also a good time to check in on something that's easy to forget: 𝘺𝘰𝘢𝘳 π˜ͺ𝘯𝘴𝘢𝘳𝘒𝘯𝘀𝘦 𝘀𝘰𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘒𝘨𝘦.

If you've bought a vehicle, renovated your home, welcomed a new driver into the family, or experienced any major life changes this year, your coverage may deserve a second look.

No pressure. No complicated insurance jargon. Just a conversation to make sure your coverage still fits your life today (not the life you had a year ago).

Sometimes everything is exactly as it should be. Sometimes a small adjustment can make a big difference. Contact us for an insurnace review πŸ”— www.booneritterinsurance.com

The first hint of cooler weather has a funny way of motivating us to tackle projects we've been putting off all summer.

Before fall gets into full swing, take a few minutes to walk around your home.

πŸ‚ Clean out the gutters.
🌳 Trim back any tree limbs hanging over the roof.
🏠 Check your roof for missing shingles.
πŸšͺ Inspect doors and windows for drafts.
πŸ’§ Make sure downspouts are directing water away from your foundation.

A little maintenance now can help prevent bigger (and more expensive) problems later.

Save this checklist for a fall weekend – and if you know someone who's always looking for the next home project, send it their way. πŸ”— www.booneritterinsurance.com

Here's a weekend challenge:

Walk outside and look up. 🌳 See any tree limbs hanging over your roof? Dead branches? Trees brushing against the house?

After a summer of storms, strong winds, as well as extra dry weather, now is a great time to trim back anything that could cause trouble later this fall or winter. It's one of those small jobs that's easy to put off... until Mother Nature decides to remind you.

A little trimming today can help protect your roof and home tomorrow. π—‘π—²π˜…π˜ π˜€π˜π—²π—½π˜€? Make sure your home insurance is up to date – contact Boone Ritter Insurance to review your insurance needs and options. πŸ”— https://www.booneritterinsurance.com/

Twenty-five years after September 11, we remember those whose lives were taken, honor the heroes who answered the call, and keep their families in our thoughts. The legacy of that day is not only one of profound loss, but also of courage, service, and neighbors standing together when it mattered most. May we always remember, and may we never lose sight of the strength found in caring for one another.

Labor Day Weekend has a way of signaling that summer is winding down.

Maybe you're firing up the grill one more time, heading to the lake, tackling a few projects around the house… or maybe you're doing absolutely nothing at all. (No judgment here.)

However you choose to spend the weekend, we hope it's filled with good company, a little relaxation, and a chance to recharge.

Labor Day is also a time to recognize the hard work that keeps our communities moving every day. To everyone putting in the effortβ€”whether you're in an office, on a job site, in a classroom, behind the wheel, or serving othersβ€”thank you.

From all of us at Boone Ritter Insurance, have a safe, relaxing, and Happy Labor Day Weekend!

Believe it or not, we're already looking toward the time of year when many people review their health insurance.

Open Enrollment will be here before you know it, and if you've ever felt overwhelmed by terms like HMO, PPO, deductibles, copays, or Marketplace plans... you're definitely not alone.

The good news? You don't have to wait until enrollment season to start learning about your options.

Our guide breaks down the different types of health insurance in plain English, so you'll feel more confident when it's time to make decisions for yourself or your family.

A little preparation now can make enrollment season much less stressful later.

Here's a quick challenge:

If you walked out to your car right now, would you have what you need if something unexpected happened?

Whether you're commuting across town, heading to the lake, or taking one last summer road trip, a few basic items can make a big difference if you get stuck on the side of the road.

Keep these essentials in your vehicle (obviously, they won't all fit in your glove box):

πŸš— Jumper cables
πŸ”¦ Flashlight (with fresh batteries)
🩹 Small first-aid kit
πŸ”‹ Phone charger or power bank
πŸ’§ Bottled water
🦺 Reflective vest or warning triangles
πŸ”§ Basic multi-tool
πŸ“‹ Your insurance and registration information

Hopefully you'll never need most of it. But if you do, you'll be glad it's there.

Save this post as a reminder, and share it with someone who could use a quick vehicle check before their next drive. πŸ”— booneritterinsurance.com

Arkansas summers can be tough on more than just usβ€”they can take a toll on our homes, too. β˜€οΈπŸ‘

When temperatures climb, your HVAC works overtime, roofs and siding expand and contract, and the risk of fire and other heat-related damage can increase. A little preventative maintenance now can help you avoid bigger headaches later.

We put together a guide with practical tips to help protect your home during the hottest months of the year, along with information about how your homeowners insurance may come into play if the unexpected happens.

Whether you're in Central Arkansas or Northwest Arkansas, it's worth taking a few minutes to give it a read.

Move-in day is almost here, and for a lot of families, the car is about to be packed to the roof with bedding, snacks, and that one item someone swore they didn't need... until they did.

But before you check "college" off the list, here's one more thing to think about:

βœ”οΈ Will they be living in a dorm or an apartment?
βœ”οΈ Is their laptop, bike, or other valuable gear protected?
βœ”οΈ Are they taking a car to campus?
βœ”οΈ Do you know what your current insurance policy actually covers?

It's not the most exciting part of college prep, but it's one of the smartest conversations you can have before move-in day.

We put together a guide to help parents and students navigate the insurance side of this big transition.

Move-in day comes with more than boxes and bedding. Here’s what Arkansas parents should know about insurance before their student heads to college.

Summer isn't over 𝘫𝘢𝘴𝘡 yet for some.

If you've got one more weekend getaway or a last-minute vacation planned before school starts, take five minutes to give your home a quick once-over before you leave.

🏑 Lock all doors and windows
πŸ’‘ Set a few lights on timers
πŸ“¬ Pause your mail or ask a neighbor to grab it
πŸ“¦ Move deliveries indoors if possible
πŸ“± Save the vacation photo dump until you get home

That last one might be the hardest.

Sharing memories is part of the fun, but letting the whole internet know your house is empty for the week? Maybe not.

Save this checklist for your next trip, and share it with someone who's squeezing in one last summer adventure.
