Two Discovery Calls (consultations) in the last 24 hours..... both said they were broke but wanted to change so they could retire with dignity.
#1) Thought that hiring us for a year would cost him $25. He kept giving excuses as to why he couldn't afford more.
#2) Said she would do whatever it takes to find the money to invest in getting her financial problems figured out.

Which one do you think will retire with dignity?

It's not always about the $$$!
Just coached a couple through whether or not to take new job. The intangible cost (uprooting family, starting over with friends) was higher than the increase in pay.
They were so pleased and grateful to have that clarity.

It's so rewarding to see a client finish their financial journey!
'I've consistently had $10k in my account. Before I would have spent it. At the same time, I funded my school in cash and paid extra on the car. Not using credit cards is big. it's nice to break out of that cycle.'
All that while at the same time welcoming a new baby into the house! So proud of him!
