There is one moment in this work I look for every single time, and it lives in the space between two numbers.

The first number is what your life costs today. The second is what the life you actually want costs. Almost every woman expects that gap to be devastating. It usually is not. It is usually specific, and specific is workable.

Here is why it matters. You cannot advocate for a future you have never priced. "I need enough" is not a negotiating position. "I need $6,400 a month and here is the line by line" is.

Price the life you want before you sit down at any table. Even a rough number beats no number at all.

One sleep. Tell me one thing you want to walk out of that room with tomorrow.

A specific introduction. A second opinion on your pricing. One person who has already done the thing you are about to try. Say it in the comments.

I read every one of these before I get up front, and it changes who I introduce to whom. That is not a nice sentiment, it is literally how the matchmaking works.

Still on the fence about coming? There is room. Send me a DM for info!

"Don't worry about it, just sign it" is not reassurance. It is a strategy, and it works.

It works because it is delivered warmly. It sounds like somebody protecting you from a boring detail. What it actually does is move a document past you without inspection, and it relies entirely on you not wanting to be the difficult one.

The same family of sentences: you wouldn't understand the tax piece. This is standard, everyone signs this. We can fix it later.

Here is your line, and you can say it kindly. "I am sure it is fine. I still read everything before I sign it." Then read it. If reading it causes a problem, you have learned something important.

We practice this out loud on day three. September 29 to October 1, noon CT, 60 minutes, $27. https://bridge.rhondanoordyk.com/her-terms

A million dollar brand is not about looking expensive. It is about being easy to refer.

Think about the last time you sent someone a referral. You did not open a website. You did not check a portfolio. You said a sentence, from memory, to someone who asked.

That sentence is your brand. Everything else is packaging around it.

So the real test is not whether your materials look premium. It is whether the women who like you can describe what you do accurately, without you in the room, in one line.

Most cannot. Not because they do not care. Because you have never given them the line.

Write it. Make it short enough to survive being repeated. Then say it the same way every single time until the people around you can say it back to you.

We are spending Wednesday on exactly this at our Accelerated Networking Event, 5 Steps to Building a Million Dollar Brand. Registration link in the comments.

Can the people who like you describe what you do? Test it this week. The answers are humbling.

If you do nothing else this week, pull three documents. Not thirty. Three.

One. The most recent statement for every account with your name on it, and every account you know exists whether or not your name is on it. You are building a list, not an argument.

Two. Last year's full tax return, including every schedule. The schedules are where the things nobody mentioned live.

Three. The most recent retirement or pension statement. This is the asset women most often trade away, because it feels like it belongs to whoever earned it. It does not.

Save them somewhere that is yours. An email address he does not have. Documents have a way of getting harder to find right when you need them.

She told me she was great behind the scenes and terrible in front of the room.

She had been in business eleven years. Her clients loved her. Her referrals were steady. And she had never once stood up and said what she did in front of a group, because she had decided somewhere along the way that visibility was for other kinds of women.

At her third event she took the thirty second Business Showcase introduction. Just thirty seconds. She was shaking.

Two women came to her table afterward. One became a client that month.

I am not telling you this because it is a nice story. I am telling you because she did not get better at speaking first and then get the client. She got the client because she said one true sentence out loud in a room that was rooting for her.

That is the entire mechanism. It is not more polished than that.

Our next event is September 16. If the thought of standing up makes you want to skip it, come anyway. Nobody is going to make you do anything, and the room is friendlier than the one in your head.
