This weekend as we observe Memorial Day, we recognize and honor all those who have lost their lives in service of our country.

What an amazing evening honoring those who serve and lead our community!

We were proud to attend the Annual Navy League Gala in Bremerton, the culminating celebration of Armed Forces Day, bringing together civilian and military leaders in support of our armed forces. From recognizing dedicated commanders and community leaders to welcoming U.S. Representative Emily Randall, the evening highlighted the strength of this important connection.

A special moment was celebrating the USS Nevada crew for their operational excellence—an incredible achievement and well-deserved recognition.

There’s nothing like seeing our community line the streets in support of those who serve.

We were proud to be part of the 79th Annual Armed Forces Day Parade in Downtown Bremerton, hosted by the Greater Kitsap Chamber. It was an incredible day celebrating alongside so many neighbors, families, and local organizations.

We were excited to see our own Navy veteran and Chief Revenue Officer, Simon Powley, speak at the parade. Moments like these are a powerful reminder of the deep military roots in our region—and one of the reasons why we’re so proud to support this community. At Kitsap Credit Union, it’s been our honor to stand alongside our military members since 1934.
