1. Gross margin by job or service type — which work actually pays?
2. Overhead as a % of revenue — has it quietly crept up?
3. Are you actually paying yourself — consistently?
4. Cash on hand vs. a few weeks of expenses.
5. AR aging — how much of your money is sitting in someone else's account?

If a few of these are fuzzy, you're in good company — most owners are too deep in the day-to-day to track them. But the second half of the year is a lot easier to steer when you know your numbers.

IT'S HAPPENING$$$ As previously announced, Progressive is issuing refunds to policy holders. This is in part due to strong financial performance in 2025 and back in 2023 the Florida Legislators passed the insurance reform bill which aimed to stabilize the markets by curbing litigation costs, reducing statute of limitations for negligence cases and eliminating one-way attorney fees.

Who is eligible? Those who had an active policy as of December 31, 2025 are eligible.

What do you need to do to receive your refund? Nothing!
From what we understand, Progressive will credit the refund to your existing policy or apply the refund to your renewal. If you don't have a balance or your renewal is a long time away you may receive a refund check by mail, EFT or back to your credit card. Give Progressive a call if you want to know more.

How much will you get?
The amount of the refund depends on a few things, not everyone gets the same amount but isn't this wonderful!

Not to rain on the parade but don't spend all that money, it's almost tax season! 😭
