IT'S HAPPENING$$$ As previously announced, Progressive is issuing refunds to policy holders. This is in part due to strong financial performance in 2025 and back in 2023 the Florida Legislators passed the insurance reform bill which aimed to stabilize the markets by curbing litigation costs, reducing statute of limitations for negligence cases and eliminating one-way attorney fees.

Who is eligible? Those who had an active policy as of December 31, 2025 are eligible.

What do you need to do to receive your refund? Nothing!
From what we understand, Progressive will credit the refund to your existing policy or apply the refund to your renewal. If you don't have a balance or your renewal is a long time away you may receive a refund check by mail, EFT or back to your credit card. Give Progressive a call if you want to know more.

How much will you get?
The amount of the refund depends on a few things, not everyone gets the same amount but isn't this wonderful!

Not to rain on the parade but don't spend all that money, it's almost tax season! 😭

Got a chance to celebrate last week with the team at the Cheesecake Factory. Good food, BEAU tiful and yummy cocktails, of course CHEESECAKE! (to go because we ate too much!) and OH MY the decorations in the UTC are glorious! And so is our team of smart, talented and kind women. What a great day it was today! So much to celebrate! We just celebrated Debbie's anniversary, 7 years! Sydney joined our team Monday and is learning about insurance. Ms. Louise is back from vacation. We missed you Louise! Bella is now a permanent member of our team helping us with our books! Last month Waleska celebrated 20 years with us and Missy celebrated 3 years! And today a client dropped off a bouquet of roses to thank us for helping her with her automobile insurance. Our hearts are so full of gratitude for each other and for all of you. Shout out to Hunter's Point developers, who developed a community in the town of Cortez in Manatee County for being chosen by FEMA as "leading the change in hurricane resilience". According to article by Lisa Miller of Lisa Miller associates each home is elevated 16 feet above the flood zone, garages are built 6 feet above the high water mark. Homes are constructed with stronger materials to mitigate hurricane damage. It was noted in the article that Hunter's Point survived Helene and Milton almost completely unscathed including no power outage because each home is fitted with solar powered battery systems.
