Please join us in congratulating Josevee, also known as Eve, on her two-year anniversary with Western Horizon Insurance! 💙

Since joining our team in October 2024, Josevee has been a valued member of our Virtual Assistant team, bringing years of customer service and insurance industry experience to WHI.

With her background in both Personal and Commercial Lines, Josevee plays an important role in supporting our account managers and helping keep our agency running smoothly behind the scenes. Her dedication, experience, and contributions to our team are greatly appreciated!

Outside of work, Josevee is just as busy! She enjoys spending time with her partner and two children, leading and teaching a children's choir, and attending local theater productions and concerts. She also enjoys mountain climbing and motorcycle adventures whenever she gets the chance. And who knows? Maybe one day we'll see her performing on stage herself! 🎶

🎉 Celebrating One Year with Stacey! 🎉

Today marks Stacey’s one-year anniversary with Western Horizon Insurance, and we couldn’t be more grateful that she chose to join our team! 💙

It’s hard to imagine Western Horizon without her. Stacey brings so much to our agency not only through her incredible knowledge and years of experience in Personal Lines, but through the genuine care, teamwork, and support she brings to work every day.

Over the past year, Stacey also stepped into the role of our In-Office Manager, and I think our entire team would agree that we have all benefited from her leadership. She is approachable, dependable, always willing to help, and truly cares about both our team and the clients we serve.

🎉 Please join us in welcoming Anthony Denning to the Western Horizon Insurance team as our new Chief Operating Officer and Licensed Agent! 🎉

We are incredibly excited to have Tony bring his experience, leadership, and heart to Western Horizon Insurance.

A true Montanan, Tony was born and raised in the state. Born in Whitefish, he eventually found his roots in Bozeman as a child, then Three Forks and went on to graduate from Montana State University. 💙💛

Tony’s adventurous spirit led him to a distinguished 20-year military career, where he served as a Healthcare Specialist in a variety of roles from an infantry combat medic to an instructor at Fort Sam Houston, Texas, where he trained future generations of military medics.

But perhaps what Tony is most passionate about is caring for people. He is the proud parent of four children, including three grown adult children and one child in high school, as well as two grandsons who keep him smiling. ❤️

When he’s not working, Tony enjoys riding his motorcycle, reading, writing, exercising, and playing board games with family and friends.

Caring for others has always been at the heart of who Tony is, and that makes him such a natural fit for Western Horizon Insurance. He shares our belief that our customers should always come first and that navigating insurance decisions especially when they can feel stressful or overwhelming should be met with professionalism, knowledge, compassion, and genuine care.

We are excited to have Tony help lead Western Horizon into this next chapter and continue building a team and company that our clients can trust.

We are so lucky to have Josevee as part of the Western Horizon Insurance family! She brings so much kindness, positivity, and heart to our team, and we truly appreciate everything she does for our clients and for the agency.

This past year has been a meaningful one for Josevee, filled with wonderful reunions with old friends, exciting adventures and travel, and opportunities to serve her community and church. 🔨 CONTRACTORS & BUSINESS OWNERS — ARE YOUR TOOLS REALLY INSURED?

One of the biggest mistakes we see is assuming that because you have coverage for your business, all of your tools are automatically covered for their full value.

Unfortunately, it’s not always that simple.

PERSONAL TOOLS vs. BUSINESS TOOLS

🏠 Tools you use for home projects or hobbies may be covered under your homeowners or renters policy, subject to your policy terms.

💰 Tools you use to make money are business property and the coverage limits can be MUCH lower than you might expect.

For example, some policies may only provide around:

• $2,500–$3,000 for tools at your home
• $1,500 for tools away from your home

And there’s another important detail…

🔧 TOTAL LIMIT vs. PER-TOOL LIMIT

Let’s say your policy has:

$10,000 total tools coverage
$2,500 per-tool limit

You might think you’re covered if you have $10,000 worth of tools.

But if your $6,000 piece of equipment is stolen, you could potentially be limited to $2,500 for that one item, subject to the policy.

📋 SCHEDULED vs. UNSCHEDULED TOOLS

This is something we think every contractor should understand.

Unscheduled tools:
Your tools are covered together under an overall limit, and per-item limits may apply.

Scheduled equipment:
Higher-value items are individually listed with their own insured value.

In one current quote example, $50,000 of coverage was:

➡️ $647.50 for unscheduled tools
➡️ $263.50 for scheduled equipment

That’s a $384 difference in this particular example.

The takeaway?

Don’t just ask, “Do I have tool coverage?”

Ask:

👉 How much coverage do I actually have?
👉 What is my limit per tool?
👉 Are my expensive tools individually scheduled?
👉 Are my tools covered when they’re away from my business or home?
