GoFundMe is not a life insurance policy.

I've scrolled past so many GoFundMe posts for families who just lost someone...way too young, way too sudden. It's sweet that people show up like that... but it shouldn't have to be the plan.

GoFundMe isn't guaranteed. It's not fast. And even with everyone sharing, it often still doesn't cover what a family actually needs.

Hoping people will donate isn't a plan. Having coverage already in place is.
