We are thrilled to announce that on June 13, 2026, we awarded the second annual Equinoks – Roksan & Alper Behar Scholarship during the George Snow Scholarship Fund’s Annual Scholarship Awards Ceremony, held on the beautiful grounds of Lynn University in Boca Raton, Florida.
This scholarship represents our deep commitment to education, community, and building a more harmonious world. Named after the equinoxes, the Equinoks – Roksan & Alper Behar Scholarship honors a deserving high school senior who embodies the values of balance, harmony, and justice, particularly through their commitment to combating hate and anti-Semitism.
Why This Scholarship Matters
Through our partnership with the George Snow Scholarship Fund, we support hardworking South Florida students who need financial aid and wrap-around services to successfully graduate from college. The Fund’s mission aligns perfectly with our own: ensuring no student is denied the opportunity of higher education due to financial barriers.
Education has always been a cornerstone of strong communities, and as Turkish-American business owners in South Florida, giving back in this way feels both meaningful and natural.
