Choosing a career centered around helping people naturally fit Joseph’s passionate, loyal personality. He grew up in Chappaqua, New York where he met his high school sweetheart, Carolyn. After marrying in 1998, they moved to Ridgefield, Connecticut where they went on to raise their three sons, James, Colin, and Andrew. When two of their sons developed Type 1 Diabetes, he became an advocate for the cause. As a former Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation Board Member, he can offer a unique financial perspective and act as a resource for families living with this disease. Also close to his heart is educating people about PANS and PANDAS; an unusual and often misdiagnosed illness that his oldest son also suffered through. A die-hard NY Rangers fan, he was thrilled when his sons decided to play hockey. Wanting to be part of their experience, he became a level-4 certified hockey coach and took on the role of Vice President at their local hockey organization. When he’s not in a hockey rink, you’ll find him on the golf course, or walking on the beach with his wife. Joseph is happy to report that his boys have found hockey in the sunshine state and his oldest now attends the University of Alabama – Roll Tide! As season ticket holders for the Jacksonville Jaguars, he and his family have joined the “Duuuval” culture as they root for their local football team.
