Most people assume an investment property is harder to finance than a primary home. That isn’t always true.
With certain investor loans, the property’s rental income can be used to qualify instead of relying on your personal income or tax returns. This can be especially helpful if you’re self-employed, own multiple properties or take a lot of business deductions.
You’ll typically need more money down, but the income qualification can actually be much simpler.
