As a not-for profit organization, we truly operate for the well-being of our members. Unlike customers who just use the services of a financial institution, credit union members become part owners. And any profit generated is automatically put back into Valley Credit Union to pay dividends, build reserves, and pay operating expenses. In that way, being a part of a credit union is really more like being a part of a close-knit family—one that functions for the betterment of all parties involved. A few extra items in your grocery cart can make a big difference for a neighbor.

As part of our Quarter of Caring, all 11 Valley Credit Union branches are collecting nonperishable food donations through November 20! Donations will support the local food banks and community organizations pictured, helping stock shelves and put meals on tables throughout the communities we call home.

Next time you stop by your branch, bring along a donation and help us grow the good. Together, small acts of kindness can add up to something meaningful for local families.

Helping our community grow starts with making connections!

Ben and Brandon enjoyed meeting with Billings KOA Holiday employees at their benefits fair last week, sharing the banking benefits available to them through Valley Credit Union and answering questions about how we can support their financial goals.

During our Quarter of Caring, we’re celebrating the many ways we can support and improve the communities where we live and work. Connecting with local employees and helping them make the most of their financial benefits is one more way we put people helping people into action.

Tacos, team spirit, and a little extra caring!

We loved treating the Billings Clinic Heights team to lunch from Papa's Crazy Tacos and donating $500 to the Billings Clinic Employee Crisis Fund on their behalf.

This is part of Valley Credit Union’s Quarter of Caring, our new initiative dedicating the final three months of the year to supporting and improving the communities where we live and work. Through collection drives, community partnerships, and employee participation, we’re bringing people together to make a difference across Montana and northern Wyoming.

Behind every local nonprofit is someone who saw a need and decided to do something about it.

We recently sat down with Dallas Knight, founder of Operation Juliet and an Army combat veteran, to film our next Locally Owned, Locally Loved segment.

Operation Juliet supports female veterans by creating spaces for connection, healing, and personal growth. Through retreats, community gatherings, workshops, and scholarships, the organization helps women who served find support and a community that understands their experiences.

As we continue Valley’s Quarter of Caring, we’re proud to shine a light on the people and organizations caring for others. Thank you, Dallas, for sharing your story, your mission, and what it means to feel locally loved by Valley Credit Union.

Watch for the upcoming segment to learn more about Operation Juliet and the women it serves. When we help meaningful missions grow, our communities grow stronger.

We have received reports of scammers calling members and pretending to be Valley Credit Union. They may claim your debit card or online banking account has been compromised and ask for card details, login information, or a verification code sent to your phone.

Even if caller ID shows Valley’s phone number, the call could be from a scammer.

Do not share your information or verification codes. Hang up and call Valley directly at 406-656-9100. Dial the number yourself.
