It’s MontanaFair time!

MontanaFair kicks off tomorrow, August 7, and runs through August 15 at MetraPark. Nine days of carnival rides, rodeo, livestock, live entertainment and, most importantly… FAIR FOOD.

I’ll admit, I usually go for two things: the food and the concerts. Give me something ridiculously unhealthy that I’d never eat the other 51 weeks of the year, and I’m happy.

It’s always a great Billings tradition and a fun way to kick off the end of summer.

One of the biggest misconceptions I hear is...

"I've owned a home before, so I don't qualify for down payment assistance."

That isn't always true.

There are loan programs available where previous homeowners may still qualify for down payment assistance, depending on their situation.

I've had several conversations recently with buyers who were surprised to learn they had options they didn't know existed.

🏡 Homebuyers: If saving for a down payment has been holding you back, let's talk. It might be worth a quick conversation.

🤝 Realtors: If you have a client who assumes they don't qualify because they've owned a home before, send them my way. I'd be happy to review their options; no pressure, just answers.

Sometimes one conversation can make the difference between waiting another year... and buying a home this year.
