I got my first two-star review 🥲
I’ll admit — it stung a little. But I’m actually thankful for the honesty in my online reviews. I never want to paint the picture that everything is always smooth and perfect, because the reality is, it’s not. Dealing with insurance companies and providers day in and day out, you’re guaranteed to hit some bumps in the road. 🤷🏻♀️ It’s part of the job, and part of being human. I’m always learning and growing, and I welcome feedback — even when it’s not five stars.
We’re here to help — truly. As brokers, we advocate for our clients and do our best to navigate the maze of insurance on your behalf. But it’s important to understand that there are limits to what we can access or resolve.
HIPAA regulations, patient privacy laws, and insurance company policies can often prevent us from getting detailed claim information — even when we’re trying to help. In some cases, we can’t even get information about our own families if the policy isn’t under our name!
We’re the middlemen — and while we do everything we can to support you, ultimately we don’t have the same access as providers or policyholders. It’s frustrating, we know — and we’re just as frustrated as you are. But we’ll always be here to guide you, advocate for you, and help you understand what’s going on, even when we can’t get all the answers ourselves.
