The Beverly Hills Education Foundation is devoted to raising funds and awareness for the Beverly Hil

The Beverly Hills Education Foundation raises money to support all five of the Beverly Hills public schools: Beverly Vista, El Rodeo, Hawthorne, Horace Mann and Beverly Hills High School. Together with the site PTAs, we ensure that our children are provided with a world-class education and outstanding extra-curricular opportunities. Some of the programs funded by the Foundation are:
• Beverly Arts – art staff at all five schools.
• Middle school and high school athletics, including 21 walk-on coaches.
• K-8 and BHHS vocal/choral music.
• Science Olympiad at the K-8s.
• Talent show and musical theater at the K-8s.
• Academics including science, English, technology and robotics at all five schools.
• The award-winning journalism program at BHHS.
• STEM – Science, Technology, Engineering and Math programs at all schools.
• The Performing Arts Circle

Our foundation is the only entity that pays for the teachers and improves district-wide programming at all five schools, cognizant of a unified school district's mission. Programs such as music, technology, art, physical education, STEM, journalism, debate, yearbook, robotics, teacher development, and much more. For more information on what we have funded in the past and what changes we would like to see in the future, visit us online at www.bhef.org.

L’Ermitage Beverly Hills graciously donated $100,000 this week to the Beverly Hills Education Foundation (BHEF) to support educational programs across all BHUSD schools.

The donation is made possible through the hotel’s Community Impact Fund, which sets aside 1% of each hotel stay to give back to the community. The partnership between L’Ermitage and BHEF has been ongoing for three years, a relationship brought together by Gaby Reims Alexander, who was honored by BHEF along with L’Ermitage at the 2026 BHEF HONORS award program last May.

This latest check brings the total donated by L’Ermitage to BHEF to over $250,000. BHEF and BHUSD are extremely grateful for the strong support of L’Ermitage Beverly Hills. The Dodgers Foundation also received a $100,000 donation from the Community Impact Fund.

In attendance for the check presentation were Gaby Reims Alexander, the BHEF Board of Directors, Board President Hayden Adams, BHEF Director of Development Tiffany Davis, L’Ermitage General Manager Frederic Zemmour, BHUSD Superintendent Dr. Alex Cherniss, Beverly Hills City Councilmember Lester Friedman, and L’Ermitage management and staff.

We recently formally dedicated The Manaster Family Instrumental Room at Beverly Hills High School. The Manaster family has two generations of memories in this room, and it will now bear their name for many years to come. Thank you to Lynda and Jake Manaster for your generosity.

Namings are an excellent way to give back to the school you love, support meaningful programs for BHUSD students, and leave your legacy for future generations. With graduation approaching, consider naming a theater seat, bench, tree or something larger in honor of your graduate! Namings start at $1500. Contact [email protected] for more information.
