Our annual costume and pumpkin decorating contests are one of our favorite traditions. We love a little friendly competition, especially when it gives us the chance to give back! This year, we're proud to support Argrow's House of the Quad Cities.

IMPORTANT SAFETY ALERT – LED Slap Bracelets

Blackhawk Bank & Trust recently became aware of a report that the small batteries in LED slap bracelets distributed at recent community Trunk 'R Treat events may come loose, posing a serious safety risk, particularly to young children.

Out of an abundance of caution, we have stopped distributing these bracelets and ask that anyone who received one stop using it immediately and keep it and any loose batteries out of reach of children.

The safety of our community is important to us, and we are taking this matter seriously.

Please help us spread the word by sharing this alert with other families who may have received a bracelet.

Renee Goodman has been part of many changes and milestones throughout her 30 years at Blackhawk Bank & Trust! Starting as a Teller at our Coal Valley location, she went on to gain experience in loan processing, operations, and branch leadership. In 2022, Renee took on a new opportunity, helping establish our ITM Department and learning the technology that would bring new ways to serve our customers. Today, as an ITM Specialist, she continues to put her experience and knowledge to work, supporting our team and the communities we serve. Three decades of dedication, growth, and service are certainly worth celebrating, and we're grateful for all Renee has contributed to Blackhawk Bank & Trust along the way!
