For the last 7 years, Zarah has stubbornly and successfully managed to juggle selling both Personal Lines and Life & Health policies. She’s also a networking champ. Speaking of, this photo is her at a networking event. (Thanks Beaufort Chamber for the photo!) Few may know that’s how she made her way to our office. She simply introduced herself to Sheila and Charlotte at a Chamber Lunch & Learn and the rest is history! Thanks for all your hard work over the years and being a great teammate. This post reads a little different because hi it’s me, Re! The face behind some of the content. I write everyone else’s anniversary post and today is my anniversary!

Six years ago, I walked through the doors of Kinghorn Insurance of Beaufort and had no idea how much this place would become a part of my story. What started as a job as the receptionist has given me so much more than a paycheck. It has given me people to learn from, relationships I genuinely value, challenges that have stretched me, opportunities to grow, and a front-row seat to what it means to build something through trust and relationships. I’ve worn a lot of hats over these six years, learned more than I ever expected to, and changed along the way, too. There have been busy seasons, hard seasons, really good seasons, and plenty of moments that reminded me why I’m grateful to still be here. Here’s to 60 more!

You know the saying “if walls could talk”? If these walls could talk, they’d have quite a story to tell.

For 25 years, Sheila Peeples has been part of the story; through seasons of growth, change, challenge, and everything in between. She has witnessed a lot, carried a lot, and remained committed through the hard times. Perhaps what makes 25 years especially meaningful is that she isn’t simply looking back at all she has seen. She’s still looking ahead, asking how she can help leave this place better than she found it.

This agency anniversary makes 27 years! Joanna's career with Kinghorn Insurance of Beaufort began when she moved here in 1999 from Greenville, SC. She has been in the commercial department in many roles including account management and training. Joanna believes in continuing to enhance her knowledge base and currently holds CIC, CRM, CISR, and CBIA designations.

Outside of all that insurance knowledge, she and her husband David enjoy nature and outdoor activities with the kids. With 5 children, there's not much time for hobbies, but she keeps prioirites such as leading a women's group at church, and self-development both personally and professionally, at the top of her list. It's all a wonderful, busy, sometimes frantic pace of life! We’re so thankful for the quality of service and teamwork she provides while juggling life.
