Your credit score may now work harder for you. 👀
For conventional financing, some lenders can now use VantageScore 4.0 in addition to FICO when qualifying buyers.
Why does that matter?
Your VantageScore and FICO score can sometimes differ by 20–50 points, and in mortgage pricing, every 20 points can make a real difference.
That higher score could potentially help with:
✅ A better interest rate
✅ Lower mortgage insurance
✅ More favorable loan pricing
✅ Possible credits depending on the rate offered
This is a huge win for buyers who may have a stronger VantageScore than FICO.
