A fraudster poses as a trusted vendor and asks you to update their banking information before an upcoming payment. If the change isn't verified, your next payment could end up in the wrong account.

Before making any changes to vendor payment instructions:
✔️ Verify the request by calling the vendor using a phone number you already have on file, not one provided in the email.
✔️ Require dual approval for changes to payment information and ACH transactions.
✔️ Set up ACH transaction alerts so you can quickly identify unusual activity.
✔️ Document your payment verification process so everyone on your team follows the same steps.

Nadora joined the Craft Bank family in April 2022 as a Universal Banker and quickly distinguished herself through her exceptional knowledge of retail banking, strong understanding of banking regulations, and unwavering commitment to excellence. Her dedication and expertise led to her promotion to Bank Officer, where she now serves as one of our lead trainers for new Universal Bankers and Deposit Specialists. She's also expanding her expertise by working toward ACH Certification.
