Today, we’re celebrating our Neighborhood Beautification Program, a program created in partnership with Atlanta Public Schools to revitalize vacant properties through student artwork. We identified a few Invest Atlanta properties in our Land Banking Depository Program for this effort, and we’ll be highlighting each one in the following weeks.

We do the heavy lifting by extinguishing past-due tax liens held by the Fulton County Government and the City of Atlanta Government. Without doing this, it would be much more difficult and costly to develop these properties.

From strategic acquisitions to neighborhood beautification, the Metro Atlanta Land Bank continued transforming underutilized spaces into opportunities that serve families, businesses, and the broader Atlanta community.

Here’s a look at our impact last year:

🔑 103 newly built affordable housing units for families earning 50–100% AMI
🏦 $6M Line of Credit used to strategically acquire 5 properties totalling $3.069M
