Never share your password, PIN, one-time code, SSN, or full card details. Do not call numbers the caller provides. Instead, call us at 303-428-5080 using the number you have for EFCU. If you think you shared information, contact us immediately so we can help protect your account. Remember: just because a caller knows information about you doesn’t mean they are who they say they are. We’d rather you hang up and call us back. Card skimmers can be difficult to notice, but a few quick habits can help protect your card information:

👀 Look before you insert. Check the card reader for anything loose, crooked, or unusual.

✋ Give it a wiggle. If the reader moves or doesn't look right, don't use it.

🔢 Cover your PIN. Always shield the keypad with your hand.

📱 Tap when you can. Contactless cards and mobile wallets can help reduce your exposure to traditional skimmers.

🔔 Keep an eye on your account. Turn on transaction alerts and review your account regularly.

A few extra seconds at the card reader can help keep your card information where it belongs: with you. 🔐
