This Memorial Day, the Arlington Fire Department honors and remembers the brave men and women of the United States Armed Forces who made the ultimate sacrifice in service to our nation.

Their courage, selflessness, and dedication to protecting the freedoms we enjoy today will never be forgotten. As we spend time with family and friends this holiday weekend, we encourage everyone to take a moment to reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day and remember those who gave everything in service to others.

From all of us at the Arlington Fire Department, we thank and honor our fallen heroes and their families. πŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ

Some gave a portion of their lives in service to this country.
Others gave all of it. As public servants, we understand the weight of duty, sacrifice, and service to others.

This Memorial Day, we pause to remember the heroes who never came home β€” the men and women who laid down their lives so others could live in freedom.

Their sacrifice will never be forgotten. Their legacy lives on in the nation they helped protect.

Please join the Arlington Police Department in honoring and remembering our fallen heroes this Memorial Day.

Last night, members of the Arlington Fire Department had the honor of attending the AISD Fire Academy Class 14 graduation.

This program continues to be a proven success story, giving students the opportunity to complete a full TCFP Basic Structural Fire Academy during their junior year and first semester of their senior year, followed by EMT-Basic training during the spring semester of their senior year.

Through the partnership between Arlington ISD, Tarrant County College, and the Arlington Fire Department, this program was one of the first of its kind in the nation and has helped set the standard for many high school fire academy programs across the country.

We were also honored to have Arlington City Council members Mauricio Galante, Long Pham, and Brittney Garcia-Dumas in attendance to help celebrate the accomplishments of these students.

The success of this program would not be possible without the dedication and hard work of the students, along with the continued support from their parents, instructors, and mentors.

Congratulations to AISD Fire Academy Class 14. We are proud of your accomplishments and excited to see the impact you will have on the fire service and your communities.

During National Police Week, we honor the officers who made the ultimate sacrifice and recognize the men and women who continue to serve with courage, integrity, and dedication every day.

Policing is more than a profession. It is a commitment to stand in difficult moments, protect our communities, and serve others before self. We are grateful for every officer, dispatcher, professional staff member, and law enforcement family who carries that responsibility with pride.

This week, we remember the fallen, support those who continue the mission, and thank the community members who stand beside us.

From all of us at the Arlington Police Department, thank you to law enforcement officers across the nation for your service and sacrifice.
