Founded in 2008 by Chad Hufford, Veritas Wealth Management is headquartered in Anchorage, Alaska, and in 2014 joined forces with PlanMember Securities to become Alaska’s first PlanMember Financial Center. As such, Veritas offers the PlanMember Services Program, a fully integrated retirement planning, investment and annuity solution designed to help individuals achieve a financially secure retirement. Delivering a broad range of choice, including self-directed and professionally managed mutual fund portfolios and annuity options, the PlanMember Services Program meets client needs through three primary product platforms:

• 403(b), 457(b) and 401(k) Savings Programs
• Investment & Savings Program for IRA and Non-qualified Accounts
• The Retirement Income Program for Retiree Rollover IRAs and Non-qualified Accounts

At the helm of the firm is Mr. Hufford, a graduate of the University of Alaska where he earned his bachelor of science in chemistry. Chad holds his FINRA series 7 and 66 securities licenses, as well as life and health insurance licenses, and leads the team of Veritas Wealth Management financial professionals. Introducing Braelynn, our administrative and client services assistant here at Veritas!
Braelynn has been part of Veritas since 2023 and recently joined the team full-time after graduating this May!

She truly loves getting to work alongside so many friends and family members and she loves that her role gives her the chance to meet new people every day. One of her favorite things is being able to welcome clients through the doors, hear their stories, and have conversations. She is always happy to lend a hand wherever she is needed and enjoys being part of the various things that happen behind the scenes at Veritas.

When she’s not in the office, you can probably find her spending time with friends and family, flying around Alaska in a little Cessna, or taking advantage of the incredible state she gets to call home - usually by hiking, fishing, or camping!

Here’s a little look at what some of the Veritas team was up to this September!

🦒 Chad and his family spent two weeks in South Africa and it was truly the trip of a lifetime!

🤍 Josh and his wife, Hannah, welcomed their beautiful new baby, Palmer Rose Velez, on August 23rd! Aren’t they just the cutest family!

🌄 Lindsay and her family took an incredible trip to Utah, soaking in some of the most beautiful sights and scenery! And obviously while showing off her Veritas swag!

🇮🇹 Brandon, his wife Shani, and his daughter Ainsley explored Italy before Ainsley starts her semester abroad there!

🍂 The Parrets spent some time out at their cabin and thoroughly enjoyed Alaskas short but stunning fall season!

Meet Logan - our amazing marketing and client care specialist here at Veritas!

Logan is a lifelong Alaskan, a dad to 4 crazy boys whom he adores, and a husband to his best friend, Carrie. He stays pretty busy with life outside of the office, enjoying his passion for sports, working in ministry, and experiencing what Alaska has to offer - whether it be hiking, fishing, or playing with the family's 3 dogs. He is also a die-hard Colts fan and a huge reptile enthusiast!

Logan's biggest passion is working in Recovery ministries at his and Carrie's home away from home: Creekside Church in Wasilla. Logan and Carrie have both been deeply involved in Recovery since 2016, helping folks get on a path of freedom and away from destructive lifestyles. Pictured in slide 5 is Logan’s incredible mentor and close friend, Rick, who has played a huge role in Logan’s life and journey in Recovery.

At Veritas, Logan wears a lot of hats: marketing, client care, event planning, merch design, podcast hosting, and whatever new idea he’s dreamed up that week! If you know Logan, you know he is one of the most joyful, passionate people, and we're so lucky to have him here in the office!
