Congratulations to CM Beez Tea & Honey Haven on their grand opening in Amherst last month.

Christina Meijer and her family started keeping bee about four years ago when her then nine-year old daughter, Abigail encourages her to start keeping bees. Since then, Christina has been selling honey and other bee products at vendor shows and fairs. They started out with three hives and watched it grow to 34.

She knew this summer that it was time to move into a permanent location. In less than a month, she was able to transform the shop at 275 S Main Street into a beautiful place to enjoy some tea and visit with friends.

Besides honey, CM Beez offers tea, pastries, bees-wax candles and lotions.

To celebrate the opening of CM Beez grand opening, Derek Hamons State Farm is offering a $10 gift card to anyone who requests a quote and mentions CM Beez through the end of January.
