Each month at MBS, we host a virtual “Day of Fun” — complete with a theme and a shared activity. It’s intentional time to connect, strengthen relationships, and yes… have a little fun together.

This month, we dressed up and hosted our own “MBS Awards Night” bringing light-hearted superlatives and spotlight moments to every team member.

This quarter the MBS team had the opportunity to return to One Heart for Women & Children for another volunteer day — and it was just as meaningful as the first time.

One Heart provides critical resources and support to families experiencing homelessness and financial hardship in our community. Their work creates stability, dignity, and hope for women and children navigating incredibly difficult circumstances.

During this visit, we helped assemble “Bags of Love” filled with personal hygiene essentials, supported inventory efforts, and assisted with organizing their space to help operations run a little smoother. It was a hands-on reminder that small acts of service can create real impact.

We’re grateful to continue supporting an organization that does such important work year-round. Giving back isn’t a one-time effort for us — it’s part of who we are.

As we wrap up another successful year, MBS is incredibly thankful for the amazing team that makes everything we do possible. Our growth and success come from the hard work, dedication, and commitment each team member brings every day.
This past weekend, we celebrated together at our annual Christmas party with a wonderful dinner at Cooper’s Hawk Winery & Restaurant, followed by playing Legends of the Serpent Temple at the Underground Game Show. It was the perfect way to connect, unwind, and celebrate the holiday season as a team.
We’re proud of everything we’ve accomplished this year and look forward to what’s ahead. Here’s to continued teamwork, growth, and success in the year to come! 🎄✨

This week, the MBS team had the incredible opportunity to volunteer with Peer Support Space, a peer-led organization built outside of traditional systems and grounded in the power of lived experience. Their mission is to create spaces where people can show up as they are and support one another through life’s challenges.

We had an amazing time coming together to help paint a beautiful mural for their common space. It was meaningful to contribute to a place where community, connection, and compassion are at the center of healing. We’re grateful for the chance to support an organization that continues to uplift others and expand free mental wellness options for the community.

Out of more than 60 WBEs competing in the semifinals, I'm honored to be one of 24 advancing to the final round!

As WBEC Florida's 2025 WBE Star, I pitched with one mission: to show what's possible when we stop selling the plane and start delivering the destination.

For 33 years, I've watched business owners drown in HR paperwork when they should be leading their teams. I've seen minority-owned businesses struggle to find partners who keep their promises. And I built Merritt Business Solutions to change that story.

This isn't just about a pitch competition. It's about proving that economic equality isn't a tagline—it's a destination we're building together.

Our team spent the afternoon of August 26th baking cookies for families at the Ronald McDonald House. Every quarter, we volunteer as an organization because business success is closely tied to being good community partners.

Volunteering strengthens our team bonds, keeps us connected to real community needs, and reinforces why accessible HR solutions matter for the businesses and families we serve.
