The biggest inheritance isn't always the one you leave...
Sometimes it's the one you give when it can actually change someone's life.
As a mortgage advisor, I've seen firsthand how a down payment gift can help a young family become homeowners years earlier than they thought possible. That early start can mean building equity, creating stability, and changing the financial future of the next generation.
I didn't receive an inheritance. Both of my parents have passed away, and everything I've built has come from starting with nothing and working for it.
That's exactly why I think differently about this.
If I'm fortunate enough to leave something behind one day, I'd rather see my kid use it when it can truly make a difference—whether that's buying their first home, starting a business, or taking a step that changes the course of their lives.
What do you think?
Would you rather leave your children an inheritance later... or help them build wealth while you're still here?
