Your PIN may be easier to guess than you think.

Birthdays. Repeating numbers. Straight sequences. The numbers we remember fastest are often the ones fraudsters try first.

A stronger PIN starts with making it less predictable:
• Avoid birthdays and other personal dates
• Skip repeating numbers like 1111 or 3333
• Avoid simple sequences like 1234
• Use a longer PIN when the account or device allows it

A few extra seconds choosing a stronger PIN can make your account much harder to access.

A few simple habits can make it much harder for scammers to get in:

🔐 Use strong, unique passwords for every account
📲 Turn on two-factor authentication whenever it’s available
👀 Learn to recognize phishing emails and smishing texts before they catch you off guard

Our finalist, Pieter, took the field and did an impressive job putting his punt, pass, and kick skills to the test. While he just missed the field goal and the $25,000 prize, he gave it his all and still walked away with a $1,000 consolation prize! 👏👏
