Applications for the 2026 Angel Tree program may be picked up at any BOSV location and will be accepted through November 30th, 2026. Gifts must be picked up on Saturday, December 19th at the Lincoln County Fairgrounds from 9 - 11am.

The Angel Tree Program helps families in need every holiday season, helping to spread the joy of the season to all. Do you want to help a family in need? Angels will be available for adoption starting November 18th, with all gifts due back to a BOSV branch by Wednesday, December 16th.

In 1790, Benjamin Franklin donated a collection of books to the community of Franklin, Massachusetts. Residents of Franklin voted to make the donated books available to the public for free, creating the nation’s first public library. Many miles away and 144 years later, the Afton public library opened and was dedicated in 1934, serving our community ever since.

Parents of 4th-6th grade students, don’t let your child’s bank bucks sneak up on you👻! All SV students, from Osmond Elementary, to Etna Elementary, to Homeschools, can win a $25 prize at the end of the year if they turn in 40 bank bucks!
