We give our condolences to the Brog family. Fred served in multiple capacities on the Lincoln County Farm Bureau Federation Board for many years. He was a great pillar of the community and will be missed by all!

Scholarship Recipient- Natasha Martinez

Hi my name is Natash Martinez. In the fall I will be attending Rocky Mountain College in Billings, Montana. I will be pursuing a degree in Sports Medicine. I have chosen Rocky Mountain because they have an exceptional human performance degree. I will also be playing basketball as part of the Battlin' Bear Women's Basketball team. Upon receiving my degree I hope to work at the college level helping collegiate athletes with injuries and performance.

Scholarship Recipient- Harley Mackey

College Plans: I will start this fall at Laramie County Community College (LCCC). I am part of their rodeo team and will compete in the Barrel Racing and Breakaway Roping. I plan to continue my journey towards Nursing School. I just passed the TEAS Test and will be applying for LCCC’s Nursing Program at the end of summer. Once hearing back from them, I’m hoping I will be accepted to start their program during Spring of 2026. I will also strive towards obtaining a Business/Marketing degree.

Hobbies: Some of my favorite hobbies are spending time with my family, being outdoors (especially if it involves horses), ranching/cowboying, working as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), rodeoing, and spending time with friends.

More Information: I am so very grateful for this wonderful opportunity that y’all have blessed me with. These funds will help me obtain my goals and dreams of becoming the successful nurse and business woman I’ve always wanted to become. I am so thankful for all that y’all do for my family and me.
