Way to go, Ken! 👏🏼

Some things you build on purpose. Mortgage Professional America named Fairway one of the Top Mortgage Employers of 2026, and we do not take that lightly for a single second. This recognition sits at the intersection of culture, compensation, and reputation, three things we have never treated as talking points but as the actual foundation of how we operate every single day.

It is built by the people who show up here with everything they have, for their teammates, for their borrowers, and for the families on the other side of every loan we close. To our team, this one belongs to you. To anyone who has been watching from the outside wondering if Fairway is everything people say it is, we would love for you to come find out firsthand. The door is open.

Starting October 1st, Fairway is making the first year of homeownership a little more manageable for new buyers. The Home Budget Booster takes effect in the coming weeks, offering a reduced mortgage rate for the entire first year of your new loan. That lower payment creates real flexibility right when you need it most, room in your budget for moving costs, new furniture, appliances, and everything else that comes with settling into a place that is finally yours.

If you have been thinking about buying, the timing just got a little better. DM us to learn more and find out if you qualify before applications close.

Thirty years ago today, Fairway opened its first branch and started something that none of us could have fully imagined then. September 22nd, 1996 was the beginning of a company that was never really just about mortgages. It became about people, about communities, about showing up for families at one of the most meaningful moments of their lives and making sure they felt supported every step of the way. Thirty years of that adds up to something a lot bigger than loans closed or doors opened, it is families settled, futures built, and lives genuinely changed.

To every loan officer, every teammate, every client, every partner, and every person who has been part of this story in any chapter along the way, today belongs to you too. Fairway is what it is because of the people who chose to be part of it, and thirty years in, and still so much more impact to make. Happy anniversary to the company that has always believed home is everything.💚

Update from Honduras:

Yesterday we installed water filters for 12 different families up in the mountains of the Buena Vista community.

For only about $20 we take a big bucket, some big rocks, some small rocks, and about 100 pounds of sand, and over the course of 2 -3 weeks, this simple invention becomes its own living bio zone, filtering out harmful bacteria and organisms, and lasting up to 10 years!

How the Filter Works
• Design: A plastic container holds layered sand and gravel.
• Function: A live layer of bacteria grows inside and consumes bad bacteria as water passes through.
• Capacity: Filters roughly 5 gallons in 30 minutes, totaling over 25 gallons per day.
• Lifespan: Designed to last more than 10 years for an entire household.
• Outreach: Over 2,000 filters have been installed to help families access clean water.

Update from Honduras:

Tuesday was the first day of Vacation Bible School. We had the 1st- 3rd graders, but the little kindergartners were so precious hanging out their windows trying to see what we were doing, we decided to add them, and we loved having these litttle ones be a part of the group!

We also had a group of guys do some food deliveries to some sick and hurting families, and the youngest gave themselves the moniker of being the “Honduras Door Dash”.

In the evening we put on a Family Church Night- Wyatt McLean and Greg Patterson shared their testimonies. Both did great, and Wyatt (who is 17) said it was the first time he had given his whole testimony in that way- he was so well spoken and poised, you would have thought he had shared his story like that dozens of times. It was encouraging for everyone to hear how God has been at work in his life. Noah preached our sermon and his message was right on topic with that the pastor has been working on with many families in their church.

Update from Honduras:
Yesterday was our first work day of the trip. One team installed concrete floors, covering an entire 5 room home, plus a hallway!

Another group spent the morning building adobe walls with bricks that the homeowners had made. They then hosted a sports camp in the afternoon, playing Ultimate Frisbee with a bunch of 9th graders. Ayden taught the message and everyone appreciated him sharing how we can share God's light inside of us with others.

Our third group built an adobe wall latrine in the morning so that a family can have place to use the restroom, and also built a Pila, which the family can use to wash their hands, clean dishes, etc...This small addition to a home improves health and longevity for generations!

The best workplaces are not built in conference rooms.

They are built in everyday moments.
A teammate picking up the phone. A leader making time. A branch rallying around someone who needs support. A company that never forgets there is a person behind every title.

Six years in a row as a USA TODAY Top Workplace is an incredible honor, but the award is really just a reflection of something we have known all along. Fairway is filled with people who care deeply about each other, the work they do, and the communities they serve.
That creates something special.

Not a workplace. Not a platform. Not a brand.
A place people genuinely want to be part of.
And six years later, that still means everything. 💚

From a single branch in Bedford, Texas 29 years ago to serving communities nationwide. Today we celebrate just one of the many milestones in Fairway’s story.

What started in September 1996 as one branch with a vision to put people first has grown into thousands of teammates united by the same mission: serving others through homeownership, kindness, and heart.

The foundation laid in Bedford was never just about mortgages, it was about building trust, creating opportunity, and changing lives. Nearly three decades later, that spirit is still alive in every branch, every teammate, and every family we serve.

Here’s to where we began, how far we’ve come, and the communities we serve. Thank you Steve Jacobson for always leading the way 💚
